Originally from Finland, Mika has a strong electrical and engineering background, working on several telecommunications assignments with Nokia and across Europe, the Gulf and in Japan and Singapore before settling in Taiwan in 2006.

He established SLS Consulting Ltd, a telecommunications consultancy in 2007, focusing on technical projects combining western expertise with a rapidly expanding technical and industrial sector in Taiwan. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Mika has supported a wide range of projects in automation engineering, power consulting, water purification, agritech, electronics manufacture and renewable energy.

SLS has expanded further to also engage in market representation from Europe in food & beverage, procurement, OEM manufacturing and more. Mika’s long experience in Taiwan and his large local network allows him a unique position to support European business ventures in Taiwan.
