Axel is the founder of the Norwegian-related business network Norway Connect, present in several Southeast Asian markets. His operating company Blue Business Solutions in Thailand represents several major companies in the food, FMCG, telecom and aviation industries. He has previously served as the Norwegian government’s designated trade representative for Thailand.

Axel’s primary background is in the aviation industry, culminating in serving as Director for Thailand and the region for Scandinavian Airlines.

Well connected in Thailand, Axel sits on the board of several companies and in addition, he is the current President and past President (2007-2013) of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce. Axel is also the past Chairman of the Executive Committee and one of the founders of the Board of Airline Representatives in Thailand, an organisation representing the airlines’ interests in Thailand.

Axel holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (awarded with Distinction) from University of Leicester, UK.
