Alessandro Corbi

Alessandro grew up in Liechtenstein as a Swiss national with Spanish and Italian roots. He has been living in Singapore since 2007, where for the first 15 years he played an integral part in the buildup and expansion of the Asian operational hubs of Partners Group in Singapore and Manila, a global private markets investment firm.

In 2023, he joined United Counsel which was established in 1989 by his father Antonio with the vision of bridging the gap between Europe and Asia. The company’s initial focus was on supporting multinational companies seeking to establish a local presence in Central Asia by providing multi-sectorial, interdisciplinary business and investment consultancy while acting as country advisor. In 2022, the company underwent a generational transition when, following long careers in financial services, Michele and Alessandro joined United Counsel to lead its next chapter.

Since then, Alessandro has been expanding the United Counsel’s footprint in Southeast Asia and supporting various companies in entering Singapore and adjacent markets. He works closely with his clients to understand their values, vision and products, and leverages his strong local networks to identify the right entry strategy and partners for them. Drawing on his deep private markets experience, he also advises on M&A, project financing, and fundraising.
