Arttu Salmenhaara

Arttu brings strategic and deep operational leadership experience from Kone, where he held strategic transformation and P&L roles across China, Southeast Asia, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. He progressed from R&D and China supply/export leadership to Director roles, Regional Managing Director for Southeast Asia, and Regional Business Line leadership with strong revenue growth. He led multiple pioneering initiatives—establishing R&D capability in China, launching export supply from China to ASEAN, Australia/New Zealand, the Middle East and Americas, defining China offering strategy, entering new markets including Vietnam and Myanmar, executing M&A in Malaysia, and leading post-acquisition integration in Thailand. His track record includes moving China from lower top ten market rank to #1 and lifting Southeast Asia from a niche position to combined #1, including building high-rise and infrastructure market leadership. Landmark references include Marina Bay Sands, Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, and several other office and residential high end buildings as well as MRT lines in Singapore and Bangkok.

Arttu also served as Chairman and CEO of Naava Group, sustaining double-digit growth and expanding across Finland, Sweden, Europe, South Korea and North America while advancing the “Nature as a Service” model and improving scalability through contract manufacturing and operational transformation.

Arttu holds an M.Sc. (Eng.) in Construction Economics and Management from Helsinki University of Technology, studied at the CESEM European Business programme at ESC Reims, and has undertaken executive leadership studies at London Business School, Columbia and IMD, most recently focused on strategy and sustainability acceleration.
