Klaus Kretzschmar

Klaus Kretzschmar is the Asian Insiders partner based in Cambodia. He is also our market sizing specialist working on behalf of the whole network. Klaus is a management professional with a strong technical background having served in leading management positions for Siemens AG and Weidmueller AG across Asia.

Klaus Kretzschmar has previously been based in Singapore and Malaysia, Pakistan, India, China and Korea and has industry sector experience in industrial and defence electronics, telecommunications, automation, oil & gas, industrial and agricultural plant and equipment as well as pharmaceuticals. Klaus holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich.

Klaus has overseen and contributed to numerous projects supporting European clients in their Asian expansion. He is experienced in the development of sales organisations, the expansion of international businesses, in market research and in the implementation of business strategies. In this capacity Klaus served as the Finland Trade Organisation (Finpro) Representative in Malaysia for a period of five years.

Klaus has developed a unique methodology to determine the future accessible market for products and services, contributing to Asian Insiders projects in APAC and beyond.
