Veli-Antti hails from Finland. Over the past 16 years he has been working with a wide range of both smaller and larger foreign companies in the Chinese market. Prior to that he was employed by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai in a variety of roles supporting US enterprises in their China market-entry. He established the AmCham’s Trade & Investment Center digital platform, expanding the Chamber’s services to better meet market entrants needs. He spearheaded the Chamber’s efforts to provide actionable advice directly to foreign companies, providing valuable insights to American SMEs while also organising several conferences to promote US service providers to Chinese investors.

Working with clients in a variety of industries including chemicals, automation technology and high-precision manufacturing among others, Veli-Antti is the General Manager, China at China Sage Consultants where he oversees client project execution, new business development and overall operations, offering client companies an efficient and affordable approach to the China market. His expertise lies in market-entry, strategic planning, channel development and partner search & management.
