Terrie arrived in Japan as a young man and in the 40 years since has established and operated 18 companies in the IT, technical, media and HR sectors, including having successfully earned out on seven of these.

Several of these companies were in new and innovative areas and have gone on to greater prosperity under new ownership. Terrie also has founded and directed several Japan-international collaborations including in finance, tourism, software development, data management, medical devices and technical consulting.

Terrie has a deep knowledge of Japanese customs and culture, especially in business with extensive experience in Japanese government processes, market entry, company establishment and operations, systems integration and support, technology import and support, private equity investing and entrepreneurship in Japan.

Terrie is an active participant in various business networks and associations in Japan and lives in Tokyo with his Japanese wife and five children.
